Loving God through Loving his People is not just a fancy phrase but it is the core belief of New covenant; this belief is based on the teaching in I Corintians 13.
New Covenant is dedicated to the purpose of people. We love unconditionally and we teach others that through loving God he has given us a desire to love his people. We know that love is an action word and only through what we do will others come to Christ. The word of God and prayer is a light in a darkened world. It is only through these practices that we can offer the world a more excellent guide.
New Covenant follows leadership and prays for its Pastor Kenneth and our first lady Verinda Jackson everyday. We know that through prayer for our leaders God will send his word as a guide for our daily living.
We believe that without faith it is impossible to please him; for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.” Hebrew 11:6
Like Paul all we have is our testimony and through our trials we will be able to witness to others. The church is a place of respite for those seeking and those whom know God.
Until we stop looking at the state of a man and until we stop talking about the condition of the world things will aggressively worsen. We must reach the un-reached and teach the un-teached. When this love is extended to others we believe God has already done the work in them and the soul is in our path to be drawn in.
Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal. I Corinthians 13:1
We are a continuation of Gods work for the people, it did not end at the cross but this is where it all began. We are but a small church bursting at the seams with love for Gods people. There is none that can’t be saved for God loves us all equally. The outward man has nothing to do with the inward man. Against all odds we believe by faith that:
I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me. Philippians 4: 13
God is not a failure it is we who fail God. There is but one purpose in this life and it is not about us. For self can never give the answers to our questions that we so diligently seek from identity; all it takes is one soul.
We are not a head shaking ministry; in other words we do not shake our heads at all that is wrong with the world but we take it to the Lord in prayer and not just through our Sunday and Wednesday night service but we also intercede through our noon day prayer services on Mondays and Fridays. It is only through obedience to God can his will be done in our lives.
