Walk in “His” Footsteps Not Your Own When people try to bring you down Grab on tighter to the crown God made heaven for the angels and the earth for the fool That’s why heaven is his throne and the earth his footstool. Believe in God and follow his direction Don’t worry about those whom lack affection Tell them once and remind them when you can That they are fighting with the wrong man. God is almighty he wants us to win If only we can overcome sin. For flesh is blind it lacks direction All it has done is kept you under subjection. When God calls one to lead the flock He never specifies how many will be in your block He is almighty; he has all power in his hand We have the ability to overcome an unjust man. We can cast out demons and heal the sick Once we decide to go on instead of quit. If Christ rules and abides in your heart No man can ever tear that apart. When we pay attention to the flesh and listen to the devil We bring ourselves down to their level But once you get there they still won’t be satisfied Jesus wasn’t the only one they want to pierce in the side. You can’t win with the flesh it will only make us weak All we’re doing is paying more attention to there words, than the ones that God speaks. But never doubt that God has called on you Keep doing what he has called you to do. For God’s ways are not our ways, and he will never leave. He has given us two weapons, prayer and the word to read. So keep your mind on Christ and not on a situation. You think you have it rough, but Jesus led the whole nation. For many are called some call themselves That is why many are sick and some will never be well. therefore believe in him and never doubt And God himself will put the devil out. *Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.
